This policy explains where marketplace leads come from and what you can expect before unlocking a lead.

Where leads come from

Leads listed on the marketplace may originate from website enquiries, email enquiries, telephone enquiries, referrals, or tender opportunities submitted to or identified by Mainline.

Each lead is prepared for listing based on the information available at the time.

Lead types vary

Leads are labelled by type (for example Standard Enquiry, Tender Opportunity, Emergency Works, or Referral) to help set expectations before you unlock.

A standard enquiry may be a homeowner or commercial contact seeking a quote. A tender opportunity may involve formal procurement with documents and deadlines. Emergency works may imply urgency. Referrals may come from an existing relationship or partner introduction.

The level of detail, documentation and commercial intent will differ between leads.

Our role

We aim to present leads clearly and accurately based on the information supplied to us.

We do not guarantee that every lead will convert to paid work, or that all project details will be available before unlock.
